How long, O Lord, will sin crouch At the door? How long until sorrow and Pain are no more? O Lord, come quickly!O Lord, come fast!Bring us safely home to Jesus at last. How long will anger rule our thoughts? We cry, “We know what’s best!”How long until we embraceTrue peace and rest? O Lord, come quickly!O Lord, come fast!Incline our hearts to Jesus at last. Praise the Lord with me,This age will soon pass.Praise the Lord with me,Let’s not curse, but bless.
