Only Jesus Satisfies

All that the eye can see,
All that the eye can take in,
can be used to bring glory to God,
or used to bring sin upon sin.

Food satisfies the mouth,
but can never satisfy the heart.
Heavenly desires fulfill us;
earthly desires break us apart.

Only Jesus can satisfy,
Only He can quench our thirst,
A solid rock, a flowing fountain,
a light within our midst.

Jesus provides us with all we need,
with mercy, with grace, with love.
Let’s seek after Him diligently,
and desire what comes from above.
