Spiders!
The only time I ever feel cruel
Is when I destroy
Spiders!
They slink away suspiciously as I subdue them,
With the vacuum,
One
By
One.
With eight long legs
They terrify the house.
They may eat insects,
(I think they do)
But I don’t care because I find them
In
My
Shoes.
Spiders in the corners
And spiders along the walls,
Spin your webs,
Your day will come.
Like all other creeping things
You
Will
Fall.
